Sikkim Package Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL AT BAGDOGRA / NJP / SILIGURI THEN TRASFER TO GANGTOK

Welcome to India’s beautiful place Sikkim. Your tour begins on your arrival and you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Gangtok. It will take almost 4 hours in this journey you can enjoy the green valleys with Teesta river.

Once in Gangtok, Check in to hotel. In the evening enjoy with hot coffee and snacks along with the wonderful scenic view of nature in your balcony. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 2 - DAY EXCURSION ON TSOMGO LAKE , BABA HARBHAJAN SINGH MANDIR, NATHULA PASS

Rise early and enjoy a healthy breakfast before departing of your adventures Sikkim journey. Carry some dry snacks and let’s prepare to see Himalayas scenic beauty.

After breakfast head to Tsomgo Lake also called changu lake. This glacial lake located at 12,400 ft and surrounded by snow in winter.

Continue your journey to the New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, An Indian Army soldier whose spirit is believed to guard the Indo-China border even after his death in 1968. This is located 12 km from Tsomgo Lake.

After that proceed to Nathula Pass 14,450 ft above from sea level, where India and China meet. It was once a trade link with Tibet but now its became a popular destination for tourists and offering a close look at the boder of Indo-China. It’s closed on Tuesday and permit is needed.

Return to Gangtok for Overnight Stay.

DAY - 3 GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After a peaceful sleep in Gangtok, wake up to the fresh mountain air then enjoy your breakfast and get ready for a full day sightseeing in Gangtok.

Tashi view point: It’s around 8km from town, this spot offers one of the most beautiful views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. So bring your camera and let’s capture the peaks which is surrounded by forests.

Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok: Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Lord Ganesh. Both temple is maintained by Indian Army. This is a spiritual, peaceful and quiet place. You can see green valleys and hills.

Banjhakri Watterfall : Just outside of Gangtok it’s a most peaceful and beautiful place. The waterfall drops from a height of above 100ft and it makes a refreshing sound when the water hits the rocks. This is the perfect spot for relax and maybe this place will help you to change your social media DP.

Do Drul Chorten : Built in 1945, this is one of the most significant stupas in Sikkim and it surrounded by 108 prayer wheels. Inside are texts, traditional symbols of Tibetan Buddhism.

Flowers Exhibition Hall : This is a colourful place of Sikkim. Inside, you’ll find a colourful and lovely collection of seasonal flowers. The best time to visit during spring when the Orchid show held. During this time , the hall is filled with rare orchid varieties in every colour which you can’t imagine and the fresh floral smell will refresh you and feels you alive again.

Enchey Monastery: This is a peaceful place located in the center of Gangtok. The word “Enchey” means “Solitary” and true to its name. This Monastery is surrounded by the pine trees and away from city noise. It was built 200 years ago. Inside you will find statues of Lord Buddha, Guru Padmasambhava, and other deities. This monastery is a great place to feel peace and learn about Buddhist culture.

Namgyal Institute of Technology : This is a very important place in Gangtok for those who is interested in history, religion. Inside, the institute has a collection of Buddhist manuscripts, rare thangkas and more than 200 statues and religious objects. These items come from Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim and each one tells a story about Buddhist beliefs and history

After sightseeing, back to hotel and enjoy evening at MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 4 : GANGTOK TO PELLING VIA NAMCHI & RAVANGLA EXCURSION

Welcome to west Sikkim’s most beautiful place Pelling. It’s 2,150 meters above sea level surrounded by forests and offering an amazing views of Mt. Kanchenjungha, it’s a dream destination for nature lovers.

Namchi : Namchi isn’t complete without exploring its scenic surroundings. Temi Tea Garden the only tea estate in Sikkim and you have a chance to walk through the green hills. After that explore Tendong Biodiversity Park, where medicinal plants are carefully protected. If you’re looking for something adventures then you should drive around 40 km to Tirikhola Waterfall, it’s a perfect spot for short day outing.

Ra Vangla : Ra vangla is a small town which is located in south Sikkim and one of the attractions of this place is Buddha Park. You can see 130-foot-tall statue of Lord Buddha sitting in a meditative pose. The park is linked to the famous Rabong Gompa monastery, where you can see the beautiful views of Himalayan mountains. DAY 5 - PELLING FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING

Pemyangse Monastery : One of the Sikkim’s oldest religious monasteries is Pemyangse Monastery. This is 6800 ft above the sea level. Inside this monastery, you can see the beautiful Buddhist paintings and statues. This monastery is not only carry a spiritual significance but also a symbol of Sikkim’s history. Historically, it had the responsibility of holding the coronation ceremonies for Sikkim’s kings, known as the Chogyals. Inside, visitors can marvel at a fascinating seven-storey wooden model that symbolizes Padmasambhava’s celestial palace.

Khecheopalri Lake : one of most sacred places in Sikkim and it’s known as wish fulfilling lake. People come here to make wishes, believing they will be granted. The most wonderful and interesting fact is that birds constantly clear away any leaves that fall on the lake, they keeping the water clean. Here you can see the variety of birds so it is the perfect place for photographers and explorers. In a month of April the Maghe Purne festival is celebrated here where people float diyas on the water and make offerings of food so if you visit during April you may witness of this festival.

Pelling’s Skywalk : The Pelling Skywalk is India’s first glass skywalk and one of the most exciting attractions in Sikkim. It’s approx 7,200 ft above sea level and visitors can walk on this transparent glass bridge and its offer an amazing views of Mt. Kanchenjungha also you can see Chenrezig statue, Teesta River and Rangit River. For sure it’s a thrilling experience for every adventure seekers.

Rabdentse Ruins : In 17th century it was a Sikkim’s royal capital and it destroyed during an invasion by the Gurkhas and today its ruins are a protected monument. Visitors can still see the remains of palace walls, steps, and three standing chortens where monks and royals once prayed. You can do a short trek which will takes you to the site, where you can feel the birdsong and natural beauty.

Rimbi Waterfalls: Rimbi Waterfalls is a beautiful natural spot located about 12km from Pelling. The waterfall flows from the Rimbi River and its making a refreshing sites for visitors.
