Day 1 :- Airport Pick Up

Arrive at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati and meet our representative who will help you to transfer to Shillong which is also known as the 'Scotland of East'.

Shillong

Shillong, is the capital city of the northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. It is a beautiful hill station, stationed approx. 1525MTR/ 5000FT above sea level.

The town is encircled by pine forests and it enjoys light drizzles to moder- ate showers keeping the climate cool throughout the year.

Umiam Lake

Enroute we will visit the majestic Barapani (Umiam Lake) wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-Pines and surrounded by sylvan hills and blue skies. If you wish to enjoy a tranquil time of leisure and reju- venation then this lake is absolutely perfect for you.

Day 2 :- Cherrapunjee

Begin another day with a soothing breeze that brushes through your hair, making you feel exotic and refreshed. Later, enjoy the day trip, have your breakfast and some local delicacies.Then we will proceed to Cherrapunjee. On the way we will visit-

Elephant Falls

The Elephant fall is a three-tier cascading beautiful waterfall that takes its name from the huge adjoining rock resembling an elephant. It is a wonder- ful place to visit with your family and make memories for a lifetime. The beauty of foamy water dropping in layers is something that amazes travel- ers every time. Also, the surrounding dense vegetation makes it a great setting.

Mawkdok Dympep View Point

If you are headed towards Cherrapunjee then the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View, located at the entrance of the Sohra circuit is a must-stop location. 
You just have to do a short walk down to explore the endless and amazing panoramic views of the verdant valley. It offers a breathtaking sight, espe- cially during the monsoons with the clouds playing hide and seek with the sun. It is one of the most sought-after tourist places on this route.

Wei Sawdong Falls

Can you name anything else more beautiful than a waterfall diving off a lofty cliff? Well, chances are, you cannot. If you are always moved by the

beauty of waterfalls then the Wei Sawdong waterfalls in Meghalaya are a must-visit place for you. It is a three-tiered cascade, and the scenic beauty it produces can only be defined by the word surreal. Visit and see for your- self!

NohKaLikai Falls

Your trip to Meghalaya cannot be completed without visiting the Nohkalikai falls. It is one of the legendary destinations to be explored by travelers and it boasts of being the tallest plunge falls in India. Here, you will get an amazing sight where the water is coming down in a single fall down a height of 1,115 feet. Needless to say, it offers you an amazing and spec- tacular view.

Arwah Cave

It is one of the many newly discovered caves in Meghalaya, thus making it a great place to explore new things. It has amazing limestone formations within and you can also discover thousands of marine fossils that date back millions of years! Seven Sisters Waterfall

Seven sister falls are locally known as the Mawsmai Falls or Nohsngithiang Falls. It is THE most famous key attraction of our Assam Meghalaya tour packages. This waterfall is famous for being a seven-segmented fall. Dur- ing the monsoons, you can see all the seven falls sitting on the wide cliff and full of water, creating a wondrous sight to behold. Mawlynnong

Mawlynnong is located around 80 km. from Cherrapunjee and is near to several picturesque villages. There are several unusual sights, such as the Living Roots Bridge and a magnificent boulder balanced on another rock. Mawlynnong has a reputation for being one of the cleanest cities in Asia, although God's Own Garden is a more true appellation.

Living Root Bridge

These live root bridges are a hallmark of Khasi traditional architecture and were necessary for towns in steep valleys and mountains, allowing people to connect and travel. The Indo-Bangladesh border may be seen from here and is indeed a delightful view.

Balancing Rock of Mawlynnong

The balancing rock is a magnificient boulder balanced on another small rock which lies on the outskirts of the village. This magnificient boulder is resting there from ages and no natural calamities could disturb the for- mation.

Bangladesh Viewpoint

The Mawlynnong Village have an interesting point from where we can have a spectacular view of Bangladesh beyond the hills and its surroundings.

Dawki

Continue your journey to Dawki (4906 ft.), also known as Dauki, a tiny bor- der town in the West Jaintia Hills region of Meghalaya. This northeastern hamlet is well-known for the stunning Dawki or Umngot River and its gor- geous suspension bridge. Stroll here for a while with no hurry. Tourists and photographers come here to appreciate and shoot the town's natural beau- ty. The Dawki River is one of India's cleanest rivers and you may take a boat trip along it. The crystal-clear water of the river looks magical. It will undoubtedly be a memorable experience!

Day 4 :- Jowai

The day tour will begin after a delicious breakfast, followed by your visit to Krang Suri Waterfalls and Jowai.

Krang Suri Waterfalls

The Krang Suri Waterfalls is one of the most picturesque waterfalls of Me- ghalaya with an awesome scenic beauty of tranquil blue waters and lush green surroundings. Once reaching their you will be overwhelmed with its naturality and its beauty.

Jowai

Then we will visit Jowai,which boast for its scenic beauty, natural lakes, breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls and vast open valleys.

After the day's adventure, we will drive back to Shillong, where you will be putting up for the night in your pre-booked hotel. Relax and enjoy your time. Keep your luggage packed as you will have to depart the following day.

Day 5:- Shillong to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station Drop

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. (If time permits, we will take a short tour of Guwahati, including the Kamakhya Devi shrine and other noteworthy sites.) Transfer to the airport or railway station for your next flight.
